Your Genetics Expert

Scope of testimony

Renovatio Genomics provides expert testimony on genomic analysis, variant interpretation, mutational signatures, transcriptomic and epigenetic findings, and the integration of those findings with toxicological and epidemiological evidence.

Engagements are accepted from defense counsel, plaintiff counsel, and neutral parties (courts, arbitrators, special masters), subject to a conflict check at intake.

Engagement model

  • Initial scoping call. No privileged details exchanged.

  • Conflict check completed before any matter-specific information is shared.

  • Retainer agreement covering scope, deliverables, hourly rates, and deposition / trial fees.

  • Report under separate cover. Testimony under separate engagement.

  • Standard expert-witness disclosure materials available on request: CV, prior testimony list, fee schedule, and publications list.

Scope discipline

We testify only to opinions we hold to a reasonable degree of scientific certainty and that are supported by the analysis in the record. If a question is outside our scientific scope, we will say so and, where appropriate, refer to other experts.

Disclosure materials

For matters in federal court, we provide the materials counsel will need for FRCP 26(a)(2)(B) disclosure: a current CV, a publications list, a four-year prior-testimony list, the fee schedule, and the materials considered in forming the opinion. State-court disclosure obligations vary, and we will work with counsel on the specific format required.
